In this webinar (in English), jointly organised by the European Association for Holders of Commonwealth of Independent States Securities (www.eahciss.org) and Itlektis.ru, we aim to inform investors in Russian companies on how to claim unpaid dividends.
Many Western investors did not receive their dividends on their Russian investments. We'll go through the different pieces of legislation and explain which unpaid dividends can be claimed by whom and whether they are paid into limited so called type "C" accounts or not. We'll also go through the process of claiming unpaid dividends and the benefit of having a Russian based representative.
